A market fair featuring One District, One Product items will offer visitors an opportunity to purchase local handicrafts and agricultural products.
Merit-making activities, including almsgiving and a candlelight procession, will take place at the temple complex on the final day of the festival.
The Vat Phou Festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Lao calendar. The temple ruins, which date back more than 1,000 years, are revered as a symbol of Lao heritage and spirituality and continue to attract both domestic and international visitors.
In addition to its cultural attractions, Champasak province is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. Visitors can admire the Khonphapheng, Tad Fan and Tad Yeuang waterfalls, and enjoy activities ranging from trekking and ziplining to rest and relaxation in the lap of nature.
