A representative from Satguru’s regional office, Mr Naranyan Peswani , highlighted that Laos was a key missing link in the company’s Southeast Asian network. “We want to promote travel to and from Laos, connecting local travellers to Buddhist circuits in India, as well as destinations in Europe and beyond,” he said.
Mr Naranyan Peswani further noted that the company aims to facilitate increased inbound tourism from India, Australia, and Europe, allowing Laos to benefit from Satguru’s extensive global reach.
Business Development Manager of Satguru Travel Group in Laos, Mr Sirikhanxay Vongsipasom, emphasised the advantages for the local community. He stated that the opening would enhance the company’s tourism network and serve as a platform to promote Laos’ beautiful attractions through Satguru’s network across 86 countries.
The move is seen as a strategic step to boost the local tourism sector and provide more comprehensive travel options for both residents and international visitors.
