Somxay Coffee Farm represents Laos at World of Coffee Asia 2026

Paksong, Laos — SOMXAY CHALERN SONGSERM KARNKASED SOLE CO., LTD, under the brand Somxay Coffee Farm, one of Laos’ leading coffee producers and exporters, successfully participated in World of Coffee Asia 2026 held in Bangkok, Thailand from May 7–9, 2026.
The company received overwhelming interest from international visitors, buyers, roasters, and coffee professionals from around the world. Many were especially interested in Somxay Coffee Farm as a true farm-owner and exporter from Laos — directly involved in every stage of coffee production from cultivation and processing to export.

Located in the Bolaven Plateau highlands, the company produces high-quality Lao coffee grown in rich old volcanic soil at elevations of over 1,200 meters above sea level. Today, Somxay Coffee Farm works with more than 1,000 farming households across over 2,500 hectares of coffee plantations through long-term farmer support programs focused on quality, sustainability, and stable income development.

During the exhibition, Somxay Coffee Farm also organised cupping activities together with the “Lao Slow Bar Barista”community, allowing visitors to experience and discover the unique flavors of Lao coffee firsthand. The cupping sessions received an excellent response from buyers and coffee professionals, many of whom were impressed by the quality, flavor profile, and potential of Lao coffee.

The company showcased premium Lao Arabica and specialty green coffee beans, highlighting the growing global potential of Lao coffee and the unique identity of the Bolaven Plateau.
