Officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports, along with other participants and donors, on Wednesday attend a dialogue on the topic "Sustaining Inclusive Education in Laos". Discussions focused on the sustainability of co-education with participants sharing lessons learned from the Autism Society, Society for the Physically and Intellectually Disabled, Centre for the Promotion of Co-education, and Humanities and Inclusion. These groups have been instrumental in promoting access to co-education for children with physical and mental disabilities.

Red Cross staff in charge of disaster management across the country attend a 3-day training session on Community Early Warning, led by the President of the Lao Red Cross, Mr Khamlavanh Chanthalavanh, and trainers from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Thailand. The training was supported by the IFRC.

The Lao-Korea Rural Development and Training Centre (LKRDTC) in Vientiane concludes a training course on capacity building in marketing for 25 participants from Xieng Khuang province. Held from March 9-14, the course was part of the Project for Rural Development of Northern and Central Region in Laos. The closing ceremony on March 14 was chaired by the Deputy Director of the Department of Rural Development, Ms Veomany Thepphavong, and the Deputy Head of LKRDTC, Mr Sisaket Khanthalot. Course participants learnt about market integration, exhibition planning, product branding, and transport logistics. They also engaged in group discussions on the showcasing of products at the Expo 2025 and visited markets in Vientiane to gain insights into consumer trends and marketing strategies.
