Banque Franco-Lao supports LNCCI’s service to the business community with multimillion-kip contribution

Banque Franco-Lao (BFL) last week gave a financial contribution of 60 million kip to the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) to strengthen the chamber’s capacity to deliver services to the business community.
CEO of the commercial bank, Mr Michael De Clercq, handed over the funds to the Chamber’s Vice President Daovone Phachanthavong at the Chamber’s headquarters in Vientiane.

The contribution will support the operational capacity of the LNCCI, the nation’s foremost representative body for businesses with more than 4000 members, enabling it to enhance its services and advocacy for Lao enterprises.
The support of Banque Franco-Lao, a VIP member of the Chamber, underscores a shared commitment to fostering a resilient and prosperous economic environment in Laos.
The funds are expected to improve the LNCCI’s work by enhancing its member services. These will include offering business training workshops, mentorship programmes, and improved access to market information, directly benefiting local entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Established in 2010, Banque Franco-Lao was born from a partnership between BRED & BCEL. Headquartered in the Lao capital Vientiane, BFL services its 15,000 retail and corporate customers in the country’s main financial centres, through a network of 10 service units.
Its core business is commercial banking, offering to the Lao market daily banking and financing products, and an array of corporate financial services.
