The atmosphere was designed to remind guests of the 1950s, with every detail curated to capture the spirit of the time, while Cluster General Manager Mr Muralli Viswanathan and the hotel management team greeted guests with warm hospitality.
The newly opened Vientiane Convention Centre shed its modern aesthetic for the night, embracing a classic American look. A vintage car photo booth provided a nostalgic welcome, while a disco-style dance floor invited guests to partake in dancing, creating a lively and unforgettable ambiance.
The evening’s culinary journey was a true delight. Guests were treated to a remarkable dinner, where our renowned chefs showcased their artistry with a menu brimming with classic 1950s American dishes alongside modern culinary creations.
Each plate set out to offer masterpieces crafted with the finest ingredients while capturing the authentic flavours of the era.
The night shimmered with the vibrant energy of a bygone era through the smooth sounds of beloved Lao band, Jazzanova, their melodies weaving a spell of nostalgia for the 1950’s vibe.
Inthanon, a dance team from Pattaya, offered a whirlwind of colour and motion as they transported the audience with their electrifying performance.
Much anticipation coursed through the crowd as the lucky draw commenced, promising luxurious weekend escapes to IHG havens scattered across Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
But the excitement didn’t stop there, with the night crowning its own royalty through the “Best Costume” and “Popular Vote” awards, celebrating those who most authentically captured the glamour of the 1950s.
