Officials from Laos’ Ministry of Public Security and security officials from Thailand gather in Vientiane on Monday for the 20th meeting of Lao and Thai officials leading efforts to combat the drug trade. The two delegations discussed ways in which closer cooperation could curb the proliferating cross-border drug trade, including the sharing of intelligence in relation to drug sources and networks.
