Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Savankhone Razmountry (third left) gave guidance to Lao Press in Foreign Languages staff at their office in Vientiane on Tuesday on how to properly cover and report the efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
At the same time, the deputy minister encouraged reporters at Lao Press in Foreign Languages to cover the steps being taken to combat Covid-19. Reporters and other staff are currently working from home while others are at the newspaper offices so they can share in video conferences. Also on Tuesday, Mr Savankhone discussed work plans with the staff of the Paxaxon newspaper. |

Vice Chairman of ST Group Co., Ltd, Mr Xaya Xaysoulivong donates 500 million kip to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Head of the National Taskforce Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Mr Somdy Duangdy (sixth right) at the PM’s office in Vientiane on Wednesday. On the same day, ST Group, ST Bank Co., Ltd and ST-Muang Thai Insurance handed over face masks and alcohol worth 500 million kip for COVID-19 prevention to Mr Somdy.

Mr Alounxay Sounalath Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union (third left) and officials from the union hand over face masks, alcohol, medicine, bottled water and other supplies to Nongbone village and That Luang police force unit in Xaysettha district, Vientiane on Friday to assist local authorities during the current COVID-19 crisis. On the same day, the youth union donated supplies to the disabled development centre in Koutsambath village, Xaythany district as well as equipment for Thoulakhom district in Vientiane province.
