Pakpasak College, COTHAX PARTNARS Co., Ltd to set up Japanese language centre
Pakpasak Technical College and the COTHAX PARTNARS Co., Ltd on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the establishment of a Japanese Language Centre at Pakpasak Technical College in Vientiane, for the teaching of the Japanese language.

The MOU was signed by the Director of Pakpasak Technical College, Dr Saysamone Ngamsy, and the President of COTHAX PARTNARS Co., Ltd, Mr Masaru Murakoso.
Under the agreement, the two parties will provide Japanese language teaching to students at Pakpasak Technical College as well as for members of the public who want to learn Japanese, such as people interested in working in Japan and Japanese companies in Laos.
It is estimated that the Japanese language centre will enroll more than 30-35 students per class per term, with no charge to be made for tuition.
After completion of the course, Japanese language examination will be held to test students’ knowledge and those who pass will receive a certificate and be legible to train in Japan.
With regard to Japanese language teachers, the COTHAX PARTNARS Co., Ltd will be responsible for the payment of costs. Courses will be taught by online and some in face-to-face.
The two parties also agreed to promote cultural and technical exchanges. The development partners will provide training grants to teachers, staff and students, and provide technical equipment, infrastructure maintenance, and a budget to cover teaching, learning and administration costs.
