Phongsavanh Bank’s expansion continues to promote strong business growth

Phongsavanh Bank recently opened three new service units in Vientiane, to support a range of businesses including retail customers, the service industry, manufacturing, tourism and internal and domestic trade activities.
Phongsavanh Bank’s new service units are the T2 Plus Service Unit which opened on January 13 in Sikhottabong district, the Nonkhor Plus Service Unit which opened on February 14 in Xaysettha district, and the Sybounheung Service Unit, which opened on March 3 in Chanthabouly district.
The three events were attended by district officials and representatives of Phongsavanh Bank.
Phongsavanh Bank continues to work closely with the government and villages to encourage sustainable socio-economic development. The new service units will support this goal through providing trusted support and banking services to the local community.
The bank provides a comprehensive range of financial services to over 350,000 individuals, SMEs and corporate customers through 48 branches and an extensive ATM network throughout the country.
The extensive product and service range includes attractive deposit products, lending structured to a customer’s needs, guarantee services, local and international remittances, and a full range of credit card services for individuals and businesses with credit cards accepted around the world and competitive foreign exchange services.
The bank’s ATMs can be linked to the ATMs of the Bangkok Bank in Thailand enabling customers to withdraw money from Bangkok Bank’s ATMs in Thailand.
Phongsavanh Bank was the first privately owned bank in Laos and was registered with the Lao government as well as the Bank of the Lao PDR in 2007. The bank officially opened in 2007 and its Head Office is in Xaythany district, Vientiane, with branches throughout the capital.
From the opening day, the bank has been widely accepted and known for customer service with the bank’s reputation and image becoming widely known both nationally and internationally. From its founding in 2007, the bank continues to go from strength to strength.
