Toyota offers smart car for Lao youth

Toyota Laos Co., Ltd. is now offering a stunning new vehicle to bring some excitement into the lives of Laos’ younger generations.
Company officials gathered on Friday to reveal the new SUV Toyota Raize at “Toyota Square” located on the first floor of the Parkson Mall and available at all Toyota dealers from December onwards.
The opening ceremony of Toyota Laos at the newly opened first Antenna Shop, “Toyota Square”, at the Parkson Mall, was attended by the Managing Director of Toyota Laos Co., Ltd, Mr Masaaki Kawabata, and other officials from Toyota and various companies.
Since last year, Toyota Laos has adopted “Quality for Life” as its brand slogan and has been engaged in environmental conservation, safety initiatives, and corporate social responsibility activities through the “Dream Car Art Contest” with children.
As a new initiative, Toyota Laos has opened the Antenna Shop and, through more direct conversations with the people of Laos, Toyota Laos will be able to contribute to more active corporate activities and to raise “the Quality for Life” in Laos together with everyone. That is the main reason behind the launch of the Antenna Shop.
Antenna Shop “Toyota Square” is not a car showroom and cars are not sold there. Toyota Square is an inimitable space that not only communicates Toyota’s basic values, but also lets people experience and sense the new Toyota images of young, cool and advanced technology to attract the trend-conscious younger generation in Laos.

This space will be a device to create strong emotional bonding between the Toyota brand and Lao consumers by sending out lifestyle and culture messages with different culture crossing.
As well as the new Toyota cars on display, this place also provides the Toyota Safety Sense driving experience quiz and game programme, running from December 11 onwards.
The store will be open from Tuesday to Sunday. “Toyota Square” shop operators are welcoming you to take part in and enjoy these programmes. 
The new Raize is a compact SUV, smart car that measures less than four metres in length. It meets the needs of customers who want the fun of driving a compact SUV, who want to load their cars with a lot of luggage, but who also wish to have a compact car that is easy to drive.
The car was developed to be “active, useful and compact”. It is a very convenient car to use both for leisure on weekends and for everyday use.
The main features of the Raize are its stylish design and compact size. Communication is “on the street”.
The Raize provides daily support for customers in a variety of active scenarios, aiming to provide young Lao people with a whole range of opportunities to enjoy a new car.
For driving performance and as one of its unique offerings, the Toyota Raize has many newly developed features.
Toyota Laos hopes that all customers will enjoy this new SUV product and encourages everyone to visit Toyota showrooms in Laos to experience the fun of this first compact SUV from the Toyota products portfolio.
