The resort has 59 rooms and can accommodate up to 100 visitors a day.
For real outdoor enthusiasts, camping is a fantastic option at reasonable prices. The rental fee for a tent for one person is 126,444 kip, for two people the cost is 330,000 kip, for three people it costs 440,000 kip, and a tent for four costs 550,000 kip.
If cooking is not convenient, there are on-site restaurants, as well as clean and comfortable restroom facilities.
The winter months are the best time to visit Namkat Yorla Pa, when perfect weather conditions prevail. The nights are cool and starry, making exploration and activity comfortable. The manager recommends booking in advance, as rooms are almost fully booked every day at this time of the year.

Oudomxay is also renowned for its tasty food such as sop pak (vegetables cooked with sesame, ginger and chilli), and som seen sai mai phai, which is fermented pork mixed with chilli and garlic and packed into bamboo tubes.
Local ethnic groups are adept at making products from cotton and good bargains are available for discerning buyers.
Oudomxay is located 583 kilometres from Vientiane and is accessible via all-weather roads, by air, and the Laos-China railway. The railway is the most popular form of travel and is bringing many more visitors from China and other countries to the province.
In the first half of 2024, Oudomxay welcomed more than 113,000 tourists, generating US$6.5 million in revenue, according to the Lao News Agency.
