Easy Gold expands payment channels through M moneyX partnership

Easy Gold Co., Ltd. on Monday signed a strategic partnership agreement with M moneyX in Vientiane to enable gold purchase transactions via the M moneyX e-wallet using the Easy Gold application, expanding digital payment options for customers in Laos.
The agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Easy Gold Co., Ltd., Mr Chanthavong Phamisith, and the CEO of Lao Mobile Money Sole Co., Ltd., Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit, which operates the M moneyX platform under the Lao Telecom Group.

The partnership allows customers to purchase gold seamlessly through the Easy Gold app using the M moneyX e-wallet, with the service taking effect immediately. The initiative is aimed at improving convenience, accessibility and security for gold investors in Laos.
Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony, Director of Lao Mobile Money Co., Ltd., Mr Alounnadeth Barnchit, said M moneyX is committed to supporting the development of digital finance in Laos through modern, convenient and secure payment solutions.
“As M moneyX, we aim to play a key role in driving the digital finance ecosystem in Laos by providing reliable and innovative financial services that meet the needs of the public,” he said.
Under the collaboration, M moneyX will deploy its digital payment technology and financial infrastructure to ensure that gold transactions on the EASY GOLD platform are processed efficiently, securely and transparently.
EASY GOLD representatives say the partnership is an important step in the company’s efforts to make gold trading and investment more accessible to people from all walks of life, while reinforcing customer confidence through trusted digital payment systems.
Both parties expressed confidence that the integration of their respective strengths will help to improve financial services for the public and support the continued growth of Laos’ digital economy towards a stable and sustainable future.
