The General Manager of 108 Jobs, Mr Anousone Luangkhot, presents one of the two awards to the Deputy Director of LXML, Mrs Daomany Chanphakeo, on February 13.

LXML, a leading mining company, has received prestigious honours for its dedication to developing a strong labour market and enabling Lao workers to advance in their careers.
This commitment is further underscored by LXML’s impressive presence on the 108 Jobs website, where it ranks 6th in both follower engagement and the number of followers.
The company was honoured with two awards - the Top Follower 2024 Award, which recognised its exceptional follower engagement on 108 Jobs, and the Most Active Employer Award, acknowledging its high volume of job postings.
“LXML is proud to be recognised as one of the Top 10 Best Employers in Laos,” the Deputy Director of LXML, Mrs Daomany Chanphakeo, said.
“We believe that investing in our employees is essential to our success, and we are committed to providing them with opportunities for growth and development.”
During a recent meeting, LXML’s Senior Superintendent of Human Resources, Mr Bounthanorm Khamkhosy, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the 108 Jobs Team.
He acknowledged their invaluable support in the past, and recognised them as LXML’s primary partner in promoting job opportunities.
He said, “The 108 Jobs platform has been instrumental in facilitating the company’s recruitment efforts.”
Mr Bounthanorm engaged in an open exchange with the 108 Jobs Team to discuss strategies to expand LXML’s reach in promoting job vacancies and attracting highly skilled candidates, whose qualifications align with the company’s requirements, thereby enhancing the overall quality of LXML’s workforce.
LXML has made significant investments in human resources development, with the focus on enhancing the skills of its employees.
The company has allocated more than US$4 million for tertiary scholarships for Lao nationals and more than US$680,000 to support training resources at the Savannakhet Vocational School. Since the initiation of these programmes, a total of 10,625 trainees have completed training, with more than 16,175 training hours delivered by the middle of 2024.
In addition to its investments in training, LXML prioritises local labour and values its local workforce. The company boasts an impressive 93 percent ratio of Lao nationals among its approximately 4,000 employees and contractors, with 63 percent coming from local communities and 25 percent of them women.
This reflects the company’s commitment to promoting diversity and contributing to local development.
LXML consistently empowers its employees through educational opportunities, offering a progressive policy that allows employees to pursue international studies.
Recently, the company supported two employees in their pursuit of master’s degrees in New Zealand and Australia, demonstrating our commitment to helping our people grow professionally.
Under this policy, employees can focus on their studies while remaining eligible to receive their full regular salary, providing them with the financial security to concentrate on their academic goals.
As they return with new skills and expertise, we strengthen our talent pipeline and drive business success.
LXML’s dedication to supporting its employees extends beyond training programmes. The company annually funds the education of local students in Vilabouly district of Savannakhet province.
Currently, the company also supports 18 apprentices enrolled in the Lao-German Technical College (LGTC), with plans to study from 2024 to 2028.
To date, LXML has provided more than 23,000 training hours to Lao employees through a combination of internal and external training, on-the-job training, and international study programmes.
LXML is committed to developing and promoting local talent to supervisor and manager positions through its well-regarded Supervisor and Leadership Development programmes, which foster the next generation of skilled mining professionals in Laos.
