CITS launches SimFinity to revolutionise global travel links

Connected IT Solution (CITS) has officially launched SimFinity, a pioneering global eSIM platform, marking a significant milestone in Laos’ digital transformation and international travel technology.
The high-profile launch, held on February 21, was attended by honored guests from relevant organisations.

During the event, Mr Avinash Jha (Avi), representing CITS leadership, addressed the common frustrations travellers face when landing in a new country. He explained that SimFinity eliminates the need for airport SIM queues, roaming bill shocks, and the risks associated with public WiFi. “With zero physical SIM cards and instant activation across more than 190 countries, travellers can enjoy seamless connectivity—ensuring maps and communication apps are functioning the moment the aircraft door opens,” Mr Avi emphasised, while also introducing the “SimFinity Passport,” a travel companion device featuring encrypted browsing and AI-powered network optimisation.

The business potential of the platform was further detailed by Mr Ishwinder Sialy, who delivered a focused presentation on the SimFinity B2B platform. He explained that connectivity is now essential infrastructure and demonstrated how the platform allows partners to digitally manage eSIM packages without physical inventory or logistics delays. “This platform empowers businesses to enter the global connectivity market without investing in telecom infrastructure, allowing travel agencies and corporate providers to focus on distribution and revenue growth,” Mr Sialy highlighted.
Sustainability remains central to the company’s mission, with CITS pledging to plant one tree for every ten eSIMs sold. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to ensuring that digital innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.

In her closing remarks, President of CITS, Ms Khamsy Chansamai, emphasised that the company’s mission aligns with the government’s digital economy policies. She shared that while the platform is built on global vision, it is driven by the leadership of Lao women, including herself and Director Ms Khammany Phommachanh. “SimFinity is ‘Made in Laos’, but our vision is global. We are not here to compete with domestic providers, but to collaborate with them to elevate our national telecommunications infrastructure to a global standard,” Ms Khamsy stated, noting that the launch arrives ahead of International Women’s Day.
The launch of SimFinity positions Laos firmly within the global digital travel ecosystem. By combining innovation, sustainability, and enterprise-grade technology, CITS has introduced a platform that supports tourism, aviation, and international business connectivity, strengthening the country’s role in a connected world.
