Logos Institute of Foreign Languages holds scholarship awards ceremony

The Logos Institute of Foreign Languages (LIFL) has presented 71 scholarships worth 80,490,000 kip to outstanding students for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
The institute hosted an orientation and scholarship awards ceremony on February 19 to honour students who have displayed outstanding academic performance and exemplary conduct.

The institute grants scholarships each semester as part of its commitment to supporting students in their academic journey.
For the first semester of 2024-2025, a total of 71 scholarships worth 80,490,000 kip were awarded, with contributions from various sponsors, including BONJUK Restaurant for 43,000,000 kip per semester (86,000,000 kip per year); LIFL for 29,390,000 kip (58,780,000 per year); the LIU and KIM Foundation provided 6,000,000 kip per semester (12,000,000 kip per year); and JY provided 2,100,000 kip per semester (4,200,000 kip per year).
Established in 2001, the Logos Institute of Foreign Languages initially offered refresher courses and short-term training in English, Korean, and computer studies.
In August 2014, the institute was granted approval by the Ministry of Education and Sports to upgrade to Logos College. Since then, it has been systematically managing and expanding its teaching programmes.
In 2021, the institute received approval to further upgrade to the Logos Foreign Language Institute, allowing it to offer education at the associate, bachelor, and continuing bachelor levels. Additionally, the institute provides specialised language support in English, Korean, Chinese, and Lao for foreign learners.
The scholarship programme reflects the institute’s ongoing dedication to academic excellence and student success, ensuring that talented individuals receive the necessary support to achieve their educational goals.
