Coffee brewer appoints brand ambassador to promote Lao organic coffee

Phubia Coffee, a local organic coffee producer, has named a Lao brewer as its brand ambassador as part of efforts to promote its home-grown products in the domestic and international markets.

The President of the Phubia Coffee Sole Co., Ltd, Mrs Sunatta Litpanya (left), exchanges the signed documents with Ms Phaithida Phothisane at the signing ceremony on February 27.

The company is brewing up excitement by appointing Ms Phaithida Phothisane, winner of the Lao Brewers Cup Champion 2018 and the 4th runner-up of the ASEAN Coffee Competition 2019, as its official brand ambassador.
The announcement was made in Vientiane on February 27, following feedback from local coffee aficionados.
The signing ceremony for the appointment of the brand ambassador, held at the National Cultural Hall branch of Phubia Coffee Shop, marked a significant move by the firm to introduce high-quality Lao organic coffee to a wider audience, both locally and internationally.
The documents were signed by the President of Phubia Coffee Sole Co., Ltd, Mrs Sunatta Litpanya, and Ms Phaithida.
Speaking to reporters at the event, Ms Phaithida said that she has been a coffee enthusiast for a long time.
“I am honoured to represent Phubai Coffee. Our shared mission is to bring global recognition to Lao coffee while creating economic opportunities for local farmers,” she said.
Ms Phaithida, the former Miss International 2019, is a well-known figure on the Lao coffee scene. She expressed her enthusiasm for the role in light of her achievements, such as winning the Lao Brewers Cup Champion 2018 and becoming the 4th runner-up in the ASEAN Coffee Competition 2019.
Phubia Coffee’s products are made from beans grown in Xieng Khuang province, a region known for its rich soil and high-altitude coffee farms. The brand has built a reputation for quality by backing the production of coffee by local farmers using organic and sustainable methods.
Under the leadership of Mrs Sunatta, Phubai Coffee has steadily expanded its presence, most notably as a sponsor of more than 1,000 cups of coffee at last year’s ASEAN Summit in Laos.
The signing ceremony, attended by the media, also underscored Phubia Coffee’s commitment to elevating Lao coffee on the world stage.
With Ms Phaithida as its face, the brand is poised to attract more coffee lovers to experience the unique taste of Lao-grown coffee.
For those eager to experience Phubia Coffee first-hand, the brand’s shops are open to serve a taste of Laos in every cup.
