The seminar was successfully held at the Medical Products Supply Center (MPSC) in Vientiane, Laos, during March 26-27.
The seminar, which was part of the “Project to Strengthen the Medical Device Management System and Training in Laos”, brought together medical engineers and professionals from nine provincial and five central hospitals across the country.
During the seminar, Korean experts provided specialised training on medical device maintenance, management techniques, and the use of measuring instruments.
The Lao representatives shared insights into current medical device management practices and challenges in Laos, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration between the two countries.
By strengthening the skills of local medical engineers, this initiative is expected to improve the efficiency and sustainability of medical device operations in Laos, ultimately contributing to enhanced healthcare services for the local population.
KOFIH remain committed to supporting Laos in building a robust medical device management system through continuous training and technical cooperation with RISTI.
