PM highlights digital innovation at Huawei booth during Lao Digital Week

Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone visited the Huawei booth to view Huawei’s latest technology results and met with the CEO of Huawei Laos, Mr Hua Zhimeng, when he attended the 2nd Lao Digital Week 2024 held at the National Convention Centre in Vientiane on Wednesday.

During his visit, Prime Minister Sonexay gained detailed insights into Huawei’s global and Huawei Laos’ development and industry concepts related to 5G, Fiber to the room (FTTR), Smart Mining, Cyber Security, Cloud, Digital Power and Smart Device.
The Prime Minister commended Huawei’s contributions to digital transformation in Laos, emphasising the company’s pivotal role in advancing technological infrastructure and connectivity across the nation. Huawei has always focused on participating in digital transformation, under the vision “In Laos For Laos”.
The Huawei booth is viewed as a platform for the sharing of knowledge and providing opportunities for members of the public, especially students, telecommunication technicians and those specialising in ICT and cyber security, who came to share their opinions and view the Huawei products on display.
