HONOR unveils AI-powered HONOR 400 smartphone
The latest HONOR 400 smartphone launched in Vientiane on June 8, bringing advanced artificial intelligence technology to Lao consumers.
The launch event, held at Parkson, Vientiane, introduced HONOR’s newest mid-range model, designed to improve photography, video editing, translation and productivity through smart features powered by artificial intelligence.
Speaking at the event, General Manager of HONOR Laos, Mr Haung Hailong, said the HONOR 400 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company, making smart technology more accessible to users.
“We are proud to launch a phone that combines powerful AI features with a stylish design and strong performance,” he said. “We believe the HONOR 400 will become an important part of your daily life.”
Originally part of Huawei, HONOR became an independent brand in 2020. Despite the change, the company continues to work closely with Huawei on technology research and development.

HONOR currently holds 15 percent of the smartphone market in China and 5 percent overseas, with growth in Southeast Asia exceeding 100 percent in 2024 compared to 2023.
The brand aims to build on this momentum by expanding its presence in Laos and offering smart, affordable technology to more consumers.
