SingaCup, Lao Football Federation strengthen youth football ties in second year of partnership

Singapore / Vientiane, Laos – July 16, 2025 — SingaCup, Asia’s premier international youth football tournament platform, recently announced continued collaboration with the Lao Football Federation (LFF) as both parties enter the second year of their partnership to develop and elevate youth football in Laos.
This partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in 2024, aiming to support grassroots football, expand international exposure, and nurture emerging talent across the Lao football ecosystem.
In 2024, SingaCup welcomed the PKP Luang Prabang Academy to the tournament, marking Laos’ debut on this regional youth stage.
In 2025, the collaboration continues to flourish as the Champi Champa Football Centre is set to participate in the SingaCup 2025, joining top youth teams from across Asia in a tournament that champions skill, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange.
“This second year of partnership reinforces our commitment to creating meaningful pathways for young talent,” said the Managing Director of Dynamique Konzepts Pte Ltd., the official organisers of the SingaCup, Mr Selvakumar Panneerselvam.
“We are proud to work closely with the Lao Football Federation to provide Lao youth with the exposure, experience, and opportunities they deserve.”
As part of the partnership framework, the two organisations are co-developing coaching clinics, talent identification platforms, youth development programmes, and football-related cultural exchanges – all focused on empowering the next generation of footballers in Laos.
