The Lao PDR urges restraint over ongoing situation on Cambodia-Thailand border

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR has expressed grave concern over the ongoing Cambodia-Thailand border issue, calling on both sides to exercise restraint and resolve the situation through peaceful means.
A statement from a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued on Thursday (24 July) said: “As an immediate neighbour sharing borders and maintaining good relations with Cambodia and Thailand, the Lao PDR calls on both sides to exercise restraint and settle the issue through peaceful means.”
