Official contribution agreements were signed at the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) offices in Vientiane. AIF Group’s contribution was finalised on October 1, while Kritttaphong Group’s contribution followed on October 2.
Representing Lao businesses, the LNCCI is responsible for organising the ASEAN BIS 2024, which will take place in Vientiane from October 8-11. The agreement on the contribution between the LNCCI and the AIF Group was signed by LNCCI Vice President Mr Daovone Phachanthavong and AIF Group Senior Vice President, Mr Lattanamany Khounnyvong.
Meanwhile, the agreement with Kritttaphong Group was signed by LNCCI Vice President Ms Chanthachone Vongxay and Kritttaphong Group Managing Director, Mrs Orlathai Santikhongkha.

According to the LNCCI, this support helps to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives during Laos’ chairmanship of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council this year.
The contributions will also strengthen cooperation between the LNCCI, the AIF Group, and Kritttaphong Group, fostering socio-economic development and boosting domestic and regional business opportunities.
Several other companies have also contributed to the ASEAN BIS 2024, including the VK Companies Group (over 654 million kip), MyBanLao Hotel in Luang Prabang province (111 million kip), and Lane Xang Minerals Limited (more than 110 million kip), bringing the total value of contributions to 875 million kip.
ASEAN BIS 2024 is expected to be a key platform for ASEAN and its dialogue partners to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment. The summit will focus on ways to attract regional investment, improving the business and investment environment, and addressing challenges to economic growth in ASEAN.
Lao Prime Minister Dr Sonexay Siphandone is expected to participate in several sessions of the summit.
