Acteus Group donates to Visually Impaired Blind School: A strong commitment to Laos’ community welfare

October 16, 2024 – In a heartwarming demonstration of corporate social responsibility, the Acteus Group has made a significant donation to the Visually Impaired Blind School, further solidifying its commitment to enriching lives and supporting essential services in the community.

This generous contribution, made through the company’s Acteus Smiles initiative, aims to enhance the educational experiences of visually impaired students and empower them with the tools they need for a brighter future. 
The donation ceremony, held at the school’s campus, brought together students, faculty, and members of the Acteus Group leadership team.
During the event, Acteus representatives, M. Chaiwat Rerkchaisi, Ms. Natida Panmuang and Ms. Kanlayawat Techanan, emphasised the company’s mission to make a positive impact within the communities it serves.
“At Acteus, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive, regardless of their challenges. Through our Acteus Smiles initiative, we strive to reinforce our presence within the community and support organisations that play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our youth.”
Donations in kind made by the Acteus Group included solar panels, clothing, toys and educational materials to cater to the needs of the students.
Furthermore, the donation will help enhance existing programmes and facilitate the development of new initiatives aimed at fostering independence and life skills among students. 
Head of the Visually Impaired Blind School, Director Khamkhoune Holanouphai, expressed her gratitude for the donation, acknowledging the positive impact it will have on the students.
“This generous act by the Acteus Group will not only enrich our programmes but also boost our students’ confidence and capabilities,” Khamkhoune

The Acteus Smiles initiative has already made strides in connecting with various community organisations in Laos, including Vientiane Rescue 1623, focusing on projects that benefit the local community.
This recent donation reflects the Acteus Group’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, demonstrating that corporate success can be harmoniously aligned with a strong dedication to philanthropy.
