Lao Pipes wins prestigious Lao Quality Award

Lao Pipe Industrial Technology Sole Company Limited (Lao Pipes) is the proud recipient of a Lao Quality Award 2024, issued by the Department of Standards and Measurement, Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The accolade is testament to Lao Pipes’ unwavering commitment to excellence in manufacturing and dedication to providing the highest quality products to customers.

More than 100 companies applied for the award this year but not all of them met the requisite national standards.
The Lao Quality Award 2024 certificates were handed out during the Made in Laos Fair held in Vientiane recently.
The event was led by Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and attended by ministers, deputy ministers, provincial governors, the Vice Mayor of Vientiane, ambassadors, representatives of international organisations, and business operators.
A total of 150 companies from across the country exhibited their products at the fair, with products from other ASEAN countries and China also on display. The total value of the products exhibited was estimated at more than 9 billion kip.
The Deputy Director of Lao Pipe Industrial Technology Sole Co., Ltd., Ms Souchinda Sengphet, said the company manufactures quality pipes under the brand names “Lao Pipe” and “DD Pipe”.
“Lao Pipes was established in 2006 to meet the growing demand for high-quality piping in Laos. Founded with a vision of excellence, the company has invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and cutting-edge technology to ensure its products meet rigorous industry standards,” she added.
“Over 18 years, the Lao Pipe Company has built a reputation for reliability and innovation, specialising in the production of a wide range of piping products for various applications, including construction, agriculture, and industry. The company’s commitment to quality is reflected in its strict adherence to quality control processes and continuous improvement practices,” Ms Souchinda said.

The company received Lao standard 71-2009 certification in 2013 and international standard ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation in 2018.
