Phongsavanh Insurance and MOK Co Ltd ink pact for insurance solutions

Phongsavanh Insurance (APA) Co Ltd and MOK Co Ltd, an exclusive distributor of BYD electric vehicles in Laos, have signed a strategic partnership to integrate comprehensive insurance solutions with every BYD purchase.

The signing agreement was held on December 5, signed by the CEO of APA, Mr Dean Robertson and the CEO of MOK, Mr Marco Mok.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the CEO of APA, Mr Dean Robertson, said, “Today marks a significant milestone in our journey toward innovation and excellence. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we gather here to celebrate the signing of a strategic partnership between BYD, a leader in electric vehicle technology, and Phongsavanh Insurance APA, a trusted name in insurance services.”
He raised that this collaboration displays their commitment to their customers.
“By joining forces, we leverage BYD’s state-of-the-art technology, exceptional servicing and repair services and Phongsavanh Insurance’s expertise in risk management to create a uniquely tailored experience for our clients,” he said.
“This partnership will not only enhance customer loyalty but also provide them with an added layer of assurance, differentiating us in a competitive marketplace, and it is also allowing our customers to drive with confidence, knowing they are adequately protected.”
CEO of MOK, Mr Marco Mok, noted that signing a strategic cooperation agreement between the two companies reflects their mutual trust and shared vision but also underscores the commitment to advancing Laos’ new energy vehicle industry.
“As the exclusive distributor of BYD electric vehicles in Laos, MOK Co Ltd is dedicated to championing green innovation and sustainable practices. We firmly believe that the adoption of new energy vehicles will not only enhance environmental protection but also improve travel quality and help build a brighter future for the Lao people,” he said.

At the same event, APA’s Chief Distribution Officer, Mr Phongsouthi Inkhamheuan and Assistant Manager of MOK’s CEO, Mr Vienthong Xayyaphet, also signed documents to witness the pact.
