Lao, Chinese vocational education bodies launch electromechanical technology programme

An opening ceremony and training course for the newly established Professional Group of ‘Electromechanical Technology Application’ took place on November 12, marking a new milestone in vocational education.
This set of events was co-organised as cloud gatherings by Laos’s Vocational Education Development Institute and China’s Guangzhou Zengcheng Vocational and Technical School.
With the success of the events, it is hoped that the partnership between the two colleges will allow for the effective exchange of information while opening a new chapter for their international cooperation and further possibilities for collaboration.
The afternoon course aimed to enhance the professional teaching level and practical training level of the Vocational Education Development Institute’s teachers in the fields of electrical automation, sensor technology and programmable logic controller technology.
With the aim to support the rapid development of vocational education in Laos, the programme is now working to lay a strong foundation for future training courses and content.
