Innogreen Engineering receives ISO 9001 certification

The consultancy service providing a greener environment, Innogreen Engineering Co., Ltd. (ING), has recently received the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, affirming that the company meets customer and other stakeholder needs according to the statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service.

A certificate ceremony and the company’s New Year party was held in Vientiane on February 02, attended by the company’s Board of Directors and staff as well as customers, partners and other invited guests.
The ISO 9000 family is a set of five quality management system standards established by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
ING offers a variety of consultancy services, carried out by expert teams which have extensive experience in providing top quality consulting services.
These include environmental and social impact assessments; water/wastewater quality monitoring and assessment; ambient air quality monitoring and assessment; wastewater treatment system design; energy consultancy services; geographic information technology and remote sensing; and building, road, bridge design and construction management.
Speaking at the certificate ceremony, Managing Director of ING, Mr Somvang Thammavongsa said “We provide surveys for projects that have links to the environment, such as wind power, mining, and agriculture.”
“To certify and upgrade our company’s ability, we submitted a request for 9001:2015 certification in March last year and received the certificate in November.”
“This certificate affirms our company’s high standards and capability and increases our competitiveness. We will strive to maintain our standards so they match those spelled out and required under the 9001:2015 certificate we have been awarded,” Mr Somvang Thammavongsa added.

“When we first set up the company in 2011 we had only three staff. Today we have 15 high quality employees, of whom 60 percent are graduates with a master’s degree or higher and have at least five years’ experience.
Innogreen is currently seeking guidance on the requisite environmental criteria for projects, assets and activities to support the development of green finance, with a view to being awarded the ISO 14100:2022 certificate.
Innogreen Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in 2011 by three co-founders who recognised the importance of and need for environmental consultants, especially with regard to environmental impact assessments and environmental monitoring which is an integral part of the development of infrastructure and various industries.
Innogreen, meaning innovation for greener development and engineering, reflects the capabilities of its three founders, one of whom graduated in engineering and the other two in environmental studies.
The company continues to uphold and adhere to its mission ‘Innovations for Greener Development’ and to provide services and serve society to spur development while also protecting the environment.
“Innogreen was set up by executives who understand and care about the environment. We carry out our business with integrity and provide quality services and contract management to our customers. Over the course of 10 years, Innogreen has gained the trust of customers,” Mr Somvang Thammavongsa said.
Since its establishment, the company has provided services around environmental impact assessments for various types of projects, ranging from crop plantations, infrastructure, mining, industrial processing plants and hydropower projects in many parts of Laos.
The company has access to experienced human resources to provide national and international standards of practice and services.
