Thai Princess Royal Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visits Laos
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand arrived in Laos on April 21 for a four-day visit aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries.

The Princess landed at Wattay International Airport aboard a Royal Thai Air Force flight and was welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Thongsavanh Phomvihane.
The visit takes place at the invitation of President Thongloun Sisoulith and highlights the close and long-standing friendship between Laos and Thailand.
On April 22, Princess Sirindhorn will make a courtesy call on President Thongloun Sisoulith at the National Assembly. She will also attend the opening ceremony of an academic conference on medicine and public health to mark 25 years of Lao-Thai cooperation in the training of medical and health personnel.
During her stay, the Princess will visit the Traditional Lao Silk Residence to learn about Lao craftsmanship and culture.
In addition, the Princess will visit and attend the opening ceremony of the new building of the Culture Security School in Vientiane province, and the Huay Xon-Huay Xua Agricultural Development and Service Centre in Vientiane.
The visit is expected to promote further collaboration in public health, cultural exchanges and other areas of mutual interest.
