Gold analysis facility to ensure accuracy of gold checks

The Lao Bullion Bank and Helmut Fischer Co., Ltd. will set up a gold quality analysis room at Petrol Trade Lao (PTL) Holding Co., Ltd. in Vientiane.\A Memorandum of Understanding on the scheme was signed in Vientiane on Wednesday by Head of Operations, Mr Mark Luvant, and Mr Craig Gordon, Director Regional Manager of Asia Helmut Fischer Holding AG.

Helmut Fischer Co., Ltd. is a German manufacturer and distributor of X-ray scanners under the name of Fischer and was established in 1953.
The company has been continuously developing products in line with the vision of the founder to create stability among various industrial groups through the company's products under the Fischer brand.
At present, Helmut Fischer has 21 branches and distributors in more than 80 countries, which provide customer service in terms of sales, laboratory services, and specialised testing.
The company is widely recognised in various industries such as the gold industry, accessories, jewellery, electronics, mining, precious metal mining, aircraft and aviation etc.
The Lao Bullion Bank has observed the quality of inspection and analysis of gold-type valuables, which is important for business transparency.
In order to build trust among customers, the Lao public, and related parties, the Bank has established a gold inspection and analysis room that will operate in line with international standards using various specialised techniques.
Tests carried out at the facility will ensure that the Lao Bullion Bank's gold inspections are accurate and consistent with international standards.
