Officials from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea, the Lao National Information Society Agency, and the Digital Government Cooperation Centre, senior ministry officials and invited guests gather with Deputy Minister of Technology and Communications, Mr Keovisouk Solaphom (front, centre), and Director General of the Digital Government Centre, Dr Thavisak Manodham, at a conference to summarise the successful implementation of the Digital Government Cooperation Centre project between Laos and the Republic of Korea. The project, which took place under the Lao-Korea Digital Government Cooperation Framework for 2023-2025, drafted a 10-year digital government service development plan and formulated recommendations to improve the Digital Government Development Index. |

Senior officials from relevant agencies attend the 8th Public Investment Management (PIM) Improvement Steering Committee meeting at the Ministry of Finance on Friday, chaired by Deputy Minister of Finance Mrs Phonevanh Outhavong. The meeting was convened to review progress in improving public investment and capital expenditure management. Participants discussed implementation of the PIM Action Plan for 2022-2030 following the merger of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The Committee agreed that capacity building remains a priority, supported by development partners including JICA, the World Bank and ADB. |
