Residents of Nhaynongtae village in Champasak district, Champasak province, are building a bridge across Khamuan Lake, to provide an easy crossing over the water, which swells in size in the rainy season. Work on the 55-metre-long bridge began in January 2024 and has so far cost 260 million kip, with the money donated by monks and local residents. --Photo Champamai newspaper |
