The Research Institute for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development presents Certificates of Honour to researchers to mark the Institute’s 25th anniversary. The event was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr Phet Phomphiphak. The Institute is part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and plays an important role in research, technology, and biodiversity conservation. It carries out research on seed production and processing with the aim of producing crop seeds that are more resistant to harsh weather conditions. The Institute also carries out studies on the use of machinery and post-harvest technologies in a bid to ensure the green and sustainable development of agriculture and forestry and to assist the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to achieve its goals.
