Vietnam’s President To Lam to visit Laos

The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, To Lam, will lead a high-level delegation to make a state visit to Laos during July 11-12 to enhance the great friendly relations, special solidary and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The scheduled two-day visit is in response to an invitation from the Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and state President Thongloun Sisoulith, the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The Vietnamese President’s visit comes less than two months after he was elected as the head of the state of Vietnam on May 22 by the 15th National Assembly.
