As part of events to mark the 80th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, the Indonesian Embassy in Vientiane is organising a series of activities, including a blood donation drive, which took place on July 30 and was officially opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Ms Grata Endah Werdaningtyas, who gave blood along with Embassy staff and members of the Indonesian community in Vientiane. The initiative aimed to strengthen the spirit of solidarity between the Indonesian community in Laos and the people of Laos, while also sharing the spirit of Indonesia’s independence celebrations with Lao friends in a meaningful and compassionate way. The Embassy of Indonesia extends its sincere appreciation to the Lao Red Cross for their valuable cooperation and support in making the blood donation drive a success. |
