The departing Ambassador of France to Laos, Ms Siv-Leng Chhuor (fourth left), pays a farewell visit to Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mrs Suanesavanh Vignaket (fifth right), upon completion of her mission in Laos. Their talks centred on the strong relationship between Laos and France in the fields of culture, heritage, and tourism. They reviewed the tangible achievements of this partnership through numerous cultural and Francophonie activities. These included supporting the development of Lao fashion designers and performers, and the preservation of heritage values through the Laos-France cooperation project, which saw the restoration of historical sites in Champasak and Savannakhet provinces.
