The Lao Resort complex, operated by Oriental Pearl Company Limited from the Republic of Korea and located in the Km 62 area of Phonhong district, Vientiane province is focusing on environmental protection, cultural promotion, and smart city development.
The planned Lao Resort was advertised during the 45th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, which took place in Vientiane from October 18-23 at the National Conference Centre.

One of the exhibitors was Oriental Pearl Company Limited, which exhibited a model of the planned Lao Resort.
Speaking to reporters, the company’s Executive Vice President, Ms Lathdavone Phounsavath, said she was very proud to be a participant in the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
Visitors to the exhibition showed great interest in the company’s proposed development, which covers an area of 1,200 hectares, with the first phase of construction planned on about 500 hectares, she added.
The project incorporates several components, including a stream, a cultural site, and modern systems.
Development is planned over a 30-year period. So far, a project study and design have been completed and the next big step is construction, Ms Lathdavone said.
The Lao Resort represents a unique investment opportunity in luxury and sustainability and offers a once in a lifetime chance to invest in a development that blends luxury, nature and innovation.
The resort encompasses seven integrated commercial components involving a shopping centre, green spaces, art and cultural features, an education centre, healthcare, and hospitality.
Each of these is designed to attract a wide range of visitors and residents, creating multiple revenue streams.
The project represents not only a significant advancement for the future of the hospitality sector, but is also part of visionary and cultural enrichment.
Whether earning revenue from a bustling shopping centre or long-term value in healthcare and education services, each of the components of the resort has the opportunity to deliver significant financial and strategic benefits, Ms Lathdavone said.
