Additionally, Thailand’s contribution of THB2.1 million to support the AIPA meeting was appreciated. Both sides committed to further collaboration on regional and international platforms. |

President of the Justice Committee and the Lao-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Laos’ National Assembly, Ms Thoummaly Vongprachanh, meets with Japanese Senator Hoshi Hokuto in Vientiane. Japan has made significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Laos over the years. The meeting further strengthened the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Laos and Japan, as well as their strategic partnership, which continues to grow and evolve. The two sides highlighted the increasing cooperation between their legislative bodies, noting that this relationship is steadily advancing and becoming more robust.
