The President of the Lao National Assembly, Dr Xaysomphone Phomvihane (right), meets with the President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary. The two leaders noted the growing cooperation between their two countries and discussed ways to further strengthen relations. They agreed to continue implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed between their parliaments by increasing exchanges between high-level delegations, including visits between provincial assemblies, particularly in border areas, to discuss legislative functions. The two NA presidents also agreed to encourage their governments to effectively implement treaties, agreements and legislation signed between the two nations to ensure tangible benefits for their people. |

The two parliamentary leaders discussed the growing cooperation between their countries and proposed regular reciprocal visits by delegations from their legislative bodies to discuss their roles and other areas of mutual interest. They also agreed to encourage their governments to implement existing agreements, treaties and partnerships, particularly in the areas of foreign affairs, trade, and tourism. Additionally, the two governments agreed to escalate arrangements for the provision of land for the construction of their respective embassies in Laos and Timor-Leste. |

The two leaders highlighted the growing cooperation between their countries and agreed to further strengthen ties between their parliaments through regular visits by senior delegations, commissioners, secretaries, and parliamentary friendship committees. They also explored the possibility of meeting through virtual platforms and reaffirmed their commitment to exchanging views and supporting each other in regional and international parliamentary forums. |
