Industrial empowerment, win-win cooperation: Delegation from Suizhou Vocational & Technical College visits Laos for collaborative exchange
A delegation from Suizhou Vocational & Technical College arrived in the Lao capital of Vientiane on November 26 for a significant three-day exchange visit aimed at enhancing the development of vocational education.

During the visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Vocational Education Development Institute (VEDI), and LAMG-China Education Training Promotion Alliance (LCETPA). The three parties agreed to joint establishment of the “Jingchu Skill Workshop in Laos—Special Vehicle Training Center” and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. It sets the stage for deeper collaboration in the field of vocational education and lays a solid foundation for the implementation of future international education initiatives.
In VEDI, the delegation also conducted highly effective training sessions. The “Specialized Vehicle Manufacturing Technology Skills Training Program,” co-organised by VEDI and the College.
Vice President of VEDI, Ms Keomany Sisaykeo, expressed gratitude to Suizhou Vocational & Technical College and expressed confidence that the close cooperation between the two institutions would further advance practical collaboration in vocational education between China and Laos.
The Suizhou delegation’s exchange visit to VEDI has planted the seeds of hope for China-Laos vocational education collaboration. In the future, the alliance and the College will closely align the supply of international talent training with the demands of enterprises. They aim to integrate functions such as international talent cultivation, internships and practical training for international students, and support for enterprise-driven technological innovation.
