Sacombank Lao rewards clients with multimillion-kip worth of prizes

Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Lao Sole Co., Ltd., known as Sacombank Lao, one of the fastest-growing commercial banks in Laos, on Wednesday awarded prizes worth millions of kip to its valued customers in recognition of their sound response to the bank’s services.
Twenty-one customers, chosen at random, were rewarded at the annual prize-giving ceremony, the fifth of its kind, held at the bank’s headquarters in Vientiane.
The first prize of a package tour was awarded to one customer, giving him a free holiday in Japan plus pocket money that was transferred through his credit card.
Another 20 customers won second prizes which saw each person receiving a deposit of one million kip in their bank accounts. The value of the first and second prizes combined totalled 40 million kip.
Chairman of the Executive Board of Sacombank Lao, Nguyen Nhị Thanh, handed over the prizes.
The event was also attended by a representative of the Bank of the Lao PDR, Khonmanee Phommavongsa, Deputy Director General of the Registration and Enterprise Management Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Soulikham Chengsavang, and Sacombank Lao’s General Director, Phan Thanh Tuan.
Sacombank Lao is a subsidiary of Sacombank Vietnam, which provides a wide range of financial services to customers that include micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Currently, Sacombank Lao is offering various credit (loan) services such as loans with interest rates of just 3 percent per year; 6.5 percent per year; and 7 percent per year, as well as providing credit for business operations.
In addition, the bank offers a number of promotional services such as opening a new account free of charge for the bank’s cards and related maintenance costs with 9,999 kip deposited in the account. Promotional services also include a QR scan promotion to receive prizes, shop registration is given 30,000 kip, and 365P@Y app activation is given 15,000 kip.
