Summer ordination
The Mettadhamma project invites young people aged 12-18 to a summer ordination to learning about the teachings of Buddha and meditation, and to spend the school holidays in a useful way. There are places for 50 boys and 20 girls. When: July 7-16.

Painting contest
The Association for Promotion and Preservation of Art and Literature in cooperation with Swiss Cooperation Mekong invites young
people to enter a drawing contest themed “The festival in my home”,
which depicts the traditional activities of the event. The drawing must
be done on plain A4 size paper.

Waste2Wear competition
All fashion warriors invite to this competition unleash your inner designer and join the reimagine and repurpose. This is your chance to transform pre-loved garments and recycled fabrics into showstopping items. Breathe new life into old clothes and showcase your passion for sustainable fashion Rock the runway and winer will get a special prizes more than 2 million kip. All participants will receive souvenirs from the UNFPA Laos.

Coffee fair
Come along and watch 32 teams of baristas at work, and meet coffee producers to learn how coffee gets from the farm to your cup. There will be coffee making demonstrations and the opportunity to sample different types of coffee, as well as live streaming of the process from planting the trees to brewing coffee.
