European Food Festival

The European Union in Laos will hold its annual food festival, an annual event not to be missed.
Where: National Culture Hall, Samsenthai Road, Vientiane.When: March 24.

Japanese Speech Contest

The annual Japanese Speech Contest will again take place
in Vientiane to promote Japanese language learning in Laos and bring the people of the two countries closer together. Participants can also enjoy Japanese food and performances by students.Where: Lao-Japan Budo Centre, Anou village, Chanthabouly district, next to Chao Anouvong Stadium.When: Sunday March 19 from 10am to 4pm. Food and Music Festival
Be sure to attend the International Food and Music Festival at View Mall in a space specially created for family outings. There will be homemade food and good music, a mini inflatable water park, book and toy rooms, and other activities.When: March 16-18

Lao products fair
This event features items made though the One District, One Product scheme. On sale will be handmade items, textiles, jewellery, non-timber forest products, salvaged timber products, pottery and other goods. There will also be a traditional dance contest and a free lecture.

University Job Fair
The Career Counseling Office under the Faculty of Economics and Business Management (FEB), National University of Laos (NUOL), will hold a job fair titled "FEB Recruitment

Women's Art Exhibition
The National Institute of Fine Arts (NIFA) will hold its 12th exhibition of artwork created by women, including paintings, monoprints, embroidery and carvings. Beauty course for women
The Women’s Entrepreneurial Centre is offering scholarships for women interested in beauty and hairdressing, both in and outside of Vientiane, especially for vulnerable and disadvantaged women who

International Education Fair
Learn all about international education opportunities in Laos, studying abroad, overseas summer camps and scholarships.

Vientianale Film Festival

The organisers of Vientiane Film Festival 2018 invite everyone to watch about 100 short films from more than 30 countries. Discover the winners of the 2018 Vientianale Short Film competition at the Vientianale Awards at Chao Anouvong on March 18. Entrance is free.

Phonhong trade fair
Phonhong administration invites everyone to visit its trade fair featuring handmade products from women, handicraft products and ODOP items of Vientiane province. During the event, visitors will get a taste of traditional culture and food and enjoy a fashion show and stage performances. Indonesian scholarships
The government of the Republic of Indonesia in Vientiane

The Ministry of Finance has launched the telephone hotline number 1519 and welcomes public feedback. Earlier, the Prime Minister's Office launched the telephone hotline number 1516. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has opened the hotline number 1510 while Electricite du Laos has opened a
call centre with the phone number 1199.
