- PM departs for US-Asean Summit in Washington
Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh on Tuesday departed Vientiane to attend the US-Asean Special Summit scheduled to take place in Washington, DC on May 12 and 13. Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Vientiane, Joy M. Sakurai, saw the PM off at Wattay International Airport to bid him “safe travels” to Washington, according to the US Embassy. A recruitment agency 108Jobs, also the most visited job portal in Laos, in celebration of its 10th anniversary in December 2021, recently has launched 108M-Lab, a social and employment innovation lab.
