- Govt charts vision to 2045, reviews draft decrees
The government has pledged to strengthen national management and long-term development through the draft Vision 2045 and new decrees on land, currency, and border governance.
The government’s monthly meeting for October, held on November 3 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, focused on strategic discussions and essential legislative drafts to guide the country’s socio-economic direction. - Laos, China inaugurate international feed testing centre to drive sustainable agriculture
Laos and China have inaugurated the International Joint Research Centre for Feed Testing Technology and Application in Vientiane, marking a new milestone in bilateral cooperation on agricultural science and technology. Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) has been honoured with a 1st Category Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its outstanding performance in fulfilling tax and duty obligations to the Lao government over the past five years (2020–2024).
